I agree, it's a clean Accord.
Is it an automatic or manual?
So yours is gonna be a 6 speed? Even if it's 5, manual is so much more fun than auto.
Yup. If you're gonna do a swap, do your research and be prepared for bumps along the road.

Thanks
I debated for 2 years on what to do to make more power.
I LOVE turbos, so the SR20DET (JDM 4cyl turbo) was my thought at first...
BUT, I drive my 240 pretty much daily so reliability was a HUGE need and everyone of my friends with the SR20 has some sort of issue it seems like.
They all make 300+hp and I wanted more. LS1 is the same weight as the SR swap and keeps the 50/50 weight distribution.
Slap some heads/Cam on it and still get 150k+ miles on it with no issues and 450 hp. Cost of the swap is similar within $1k, and I will retain A/C power steering gauges, ect.. I am working on what I will have to do wiring wise for the Cruise control, but its not a must have.
And the final goal... 25mpg city 40+MPG highway. I think the 2.73 gears should make this a reality.
cam exhaust intake will amke you 407whp. but will bring you down to like 15mpg city, 30ish freeway with 4.10 rearend. if you do it, you really need to see about getting a 12bolt, or 9 inch rearend with like a 3.73 rearend atleast.

Bah - US engine in JDM chassis is all wrong. US engines go in US cars and should never, EVER be transplanted into something like a 200SX! *look of shock and disappointment*
However, salvation is easy - go for an RB25DET....or the RB26DETT
Japanese engines belong in Japanese cars!

I refuse to participate in any debate with creationists because doing so would give them the "oxygen of respectability" that they want.
Creationists don't mind being beaten in an argument. What matters to them is that I give them recognition by bothering to argue with them in public.
