I usually just leave my PCI-e bus at 100Mhz but I did try 105Mhz for a few months but I truely didn't notice any difference? I have researched in the past what the benefits might be of increased PCI-e bus speeds but don't remember exaclty what they were (if any)? I suppose that any benefits come in when running cards at the edge (maxed out clocks or what have you)?

Eldonko - Great work there but is there any chance you would share your GTL settings with us, especially since you seem to have found a decent combo of settings?

Re: PCIE bus. I experimented with this alot, generally higher oc on pcie bus = higher GPU oc, but I cant see how it does anything on this board from my tests so I just leave it at 100.

Roger - 67/67/61 is the best for fsb for me. But note GTL controls on T2RS are different than T2R.

I read under the main thread for my motherboard, and you stated that , that a Hot flash from a P965-S is possible , coz I had an unsuccessful bios flash last week, and after doing some searching, ive found your post on this being able to be done.

Will i have an problems doing this. Could someone advise me or give me some advice on doing this, I would think after the flash is done, switch off immediately dew to a different bios in a different board.

This sounds a bit low to me, so would like to know what others are achieving for 24/7 use with 100% stability.
I used to run 115mhz until I found my PCI-E link dropped from x16 down to x1 in CPU-Z when I went over 1.65v on the NB. I now just leave it at 100mhz.

If you really like PCI-E mhz try using the jmicron controller it can handle a few more SATA mhz & a few more again in IDE if you are that way inclined.

Thanks for all the replies guys. Despite everyone pushing this board to its limit, no one seems to be too excited about running a high pcie bus, I will just leave it at 105mhz since it really has been running fine with it at that speed. I won't bother trying to go higher.

    Regards to all,
This is one of my first post in the forum.
Recently, I have a P35-T2R with an E8400 running speed Stock 1 week, with the BIOS 02/14, I can not achieve a stable running 390mhz FSB Voltage stock, which with the previous bios 12/24 achieved smoothly and stable.
Try to run 400mhz fsb but not achievement of reaching the windows.
All BIOS memory options are in order.

    Hardware setup:
    E8400 + TRUE @ s-flex 120mm

What fsb strap are you using now and is it the same as you did on the previous bios. Some straps won't work properly, perhaps you have to change.

Beta Bios alert. 3/11 is now posted on DFI's site. Changes are listed simply as 'added warning for over voltage'.

    No problem man.
Find the strap which works best, because it is listed on Anandtech's review of the mobo that some straps won't work and that specific give the best performance, be sure to read through this very carefully, very good text:
    http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=3129&p=1

Could be the bios, for instance i couldn't get over 3.6GHz with my E6750 on 11/07 Bios and after i've put 12/24 i've reached 3.8GHz no problem.
Though i find that strange cause 02/14 shoudl work besit with 45nm cpu's.

When arriving at home, testing again with the various strap configs.. Adding the batch of my processor, this may be the problem: Q748A223?
    thx again for the hand.

Yes I noticed that too, perhaps they pulled it? If there was issues I am glad they pulled it before anyone could do some damage to their setup. Either that or they just haven't uploaded it yet. May have been an over sight.

actually it got ok a few minutes after.

well not much has changed except that you can't change Special Add if VCore is set to Auto.

Why did they do that? Does that thing that Praz was talking about still work, with special add and vdroop control which makes vcore drops in idle?
I think he left vcore on auto and set it via special add...
