HD3870 DDR4 vs HD3870 DDR3

You can run them together, its basically a overclocked 3850. Was it advertised as DDR3?

Okey, the card is advertised as a 3870 DDR3 on powercolors website. Can ther OC a 3850 card and sell it like a 3870 ? Feels like something is wrong here then :/

And " xMrBunglex " nice to hear, but i already ordered one more of the DDR3 version, feels like it´s better not mixing memorys. Maybe it´s harder when it comes to overclocking.

If thats your concern personally i'd sell the GDDR3 and buy another GDDR4. They seem to clock better. I mean it would irk me having paid HD 3870 prices for a clocked HD 3850.
