    Ya,
This is pretty extreme. Other than the old "Corvette" system(triple cascade) a few years back, this is pretty much the bomb.

I always want to build one of these but then I realize what actually goes into them and suddenly air cooling dosnt seem all that bad. I guess I'll just figure out a way to cool a computer with bacteria or enzymes...

Thanks guys! I'll be updating the pictures soon. I've been testing the liquid loop with the pump and I was surprised that I had a leak in one of the brazed fittings. It was a major set back to remove all the liquid components and rebraze the fitting. The pump maintains great pressure and flow through the blocks, so I think it will be the right choice for this build. I've had a few set backs, but I think it will start coming together once I get through the testing phase of the components.

I'm now leak free with the liquid loop and thought I would share a few pics. I'm sorry for the slow progress, but when everthing is custom made....theres always potential problems that comes up during testing. You may notice the GPU blocks have changed from my last post. The other design did not work out. I have a few more things to do in the cooling chamber and then I will move on to piping the compressors. I hope to start cooling the chamber and liquid soon.

Its actually pegged well over 2.0 GPM I'm sure it will decrease once the liquid is chilled.

    That pump is a beast.
Do you get a large pressure hammer when it turns on or off?

No, it doesn't have a pressure surge.....its a very smooth flow. The flow meter acts as a check valve and maintains pressure on the lines at all times. When the pump is shut off, the valve prevents the fluid from draining back to the pump.

What are you planning on using as a collant for the loops? I remember you saying something about a goal of -40c, but I don't know off the top of my head what will go that cold.

Given what all he's using I would think either pure denatured alcohol or alcohol/antifreeze mix. I would use atleast 10-12oz of antifreeze if it was mine, just to keep the pump lubricated and keep corrosion to a minimum. I know galvanic corrosion shouldn't be a problem in alcohol only loops but, alcohol likes to absorb water and I know I don't have the equipment to gaurintee a hermedic seal.

The liquid I will be using is DowFrost Heat Transfer Fluid.... good for temps to -51C....its used in cooling industrial machinery.

Galvanic corrosion shouldnt be a problem as I don't think the pump has aluminum internals, and he's using all copper blocks and stainless steel lines.
