Challenge the limitation of Quad-core CPU-DFI LANParty DK P35 First Look

Has someone running Cellshock DDR2-1000 C4 2GB kit on the DK P35?
I can't boot with this sticks.

I just moved to this board from the p5W as well. This thing overclocks the E8400 like a dream. I'm currently at 4.140ghz (1.3v) 9x460. I started at 4.050ghz and it worked perfectly the first time. Then I moved up to 4.140 and still working flawlessly. I'm going to see what the limit the chip limit is sometime this week (i'm on air). I'll probably try to determine what the minimum voltage I need to run 4.140 first. I just set it at 1.3v to start out with and it's stable as a rock. I've got a week 45A (vid=1.08), so the voltage may be able to come down some.

Edit: Stable @ 4.140ghz with 1.26v - I guess I'll play "limbo" with it and see how low it will go.

I'm orthos stable. I haven't tried prime yet. I'll run it a while and let you know.

Hey guys, i'm looking into getting this board.

I have a QX6700, will it be alright with the 4-phase PWM on this board?
I've heard that quads are better with 8-phase PWM boards...

It's been stated in the thread. I was planning to use this motherboard for a friends build and decided not to after Juliper's result. Apparently it will run prime95 small FFT's (CPU only test) just fine but when you try to run blend it will cause the system to reboot at some point. I ended up getting an Abit IP35-pro (which is also 4 phase but somehow manages quads a bit better). If you like DFI then get the Lanparty LT P35 T2R(8 phase PWM) as they are about the same price now. At the time of the build the Lanparty LT P35 was about 30 bucks more.

I need a little help with my ram. I had been running only 2 sticks of my ram to start of with. Everything was fine and I had the ram running at 1146. I put in the other 2 sticks and now it doesn't even want to run at 1000 (everything set auto 5-5-5-18) even if I pour on the volts. Anybody have any idea what may be going on here?

What SO do you have? I have 6GB and in task manager I see only 2GB.

Edit: That didn't help. Any other suggestions? The ram section is all default except for the TRFC right now.

I run vista 64 and xp 32. I see 3.2gb in xp and I see all 4gb in vista. It's actually kind of cool, cause with my old p5w I had to enable "memory remap" in the bios to make xp see more of the ram.

I got a E7200 and this board,updated to the latest bios and I still got a multiplier of 9 and not 9.5 why is this so?Is it because I did not set the fsb jumper to 1333?I set the jumper to 1066fsb already though...
