There is a sleep problem with Striker II Formula.
After restoring from sleep the onboard Nvidia lan ports are not recognized.
I think there is a port recognition problem anyway.
I cannot always predict which port is going to work after I turn off the PSU power.
In case I enable the LCD poster backlight the problem gets worse.
After turning off the power on the PSU and on again the PC does not boot at all because of a power overload.
I have to press the clear CMOS button in this case.
This happens with Vista 32 and 64 bit SP1 or not on four PCs with this mobo.
I suppose this is a BIOS problem.

It is being discussed at Asus forum since feb 17th... I kinda regret getting S2F...
I mean how can they sell buggy hardware?! The BIOS is very raw and needs lots and lots of work... grrr...

    The mobo is very good.
Lan recognition is the only problem I have.
In case we enable WOL, only one lan works and after S3 the lans have problems either in auto or in manual setting the ip address.

I did all sort of tests with the latest 902 BIOS but nothing helped.
The workaround I found is to change all power settings to hibernate instead of S3.
This way everything is kept on the hard disk instead of the ram and the lan problems go away.
Though we need to disable the LCD poster backlight anyway.

    looks Like Vista Problem...
Windows Vista computers that come equipped with more than 4 GB of system memory have limited shut-down options. Essentially, the Hibernate option is no longer available on Vista machines that feature in excess of 4 GB of RAM. This scenario affects both the 32-bit and the 64-bit editions of Vista, but at the same time also Windows XP and Windows Server 2003. Microsoft has confirmed that the issue is related to the large quantity of random access memory.

"This issue occurs because hibernation is disabled on computers that have more than 4 GB of RAM. Hibernation requires sufficient disk space to contain the contents of the computer's memory. Performance is poor on a computer that has more than 4 GB of memory and that has support for hibernation. Therefore, Microsoft has disabled support for hibernation on such computers," the Redmond company revealed.

    No no, it was Asus...
But it's all fixed now with BIOS 1101.
And I'm a happy again since I was able to OC QX9650 to 4.55GHz on air...

But wait until I lap both the IHS and TRUE, I'm sure I can get 4.7 on air.
