I am not quiet following you but for 2x2GB sticks values beyond 42 is needed,
because someone cannot have PC8000-8500 modules working properly at default.

My boards set 45 for the Gskills as programmed on the SPD, but 0907 bios doesn't allow manual intervention... though rig runs fine at stock ram speeds 1000Mhz 5-5-5-15 2T and trfc 45...

No you can manual set tRFC to 42 or lower.I have 0907 too.
The problem as i have told in previous post
is with modules that have SPD tRFC = 42 and are rated
for PC8500 2x2GB which is not good since they need 52 (2x1GB need lower
than 42 in most cases, so it is not problem for you).
