The performance of the V8 stinger is on par with a bowed fuzion with a 5.5 nozzles i believe.
Like all jet blocks it really depends on the power of the pump your using really.

It keep my temps on my Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz 1.45V at about:
30 Idle and 43C max load.
    Room temps at 20C

Loop consists of PA.120.3, 655 vario and the stinger V8 block.

THIS IS WITH THE CARD STRAIGHT. The minute I fully tightened the screw, the card will bend 2cm. I also found four or five other screws that can cause major bending.
I found the same significant amount of bow with my 8800GTx full cover block. I thought it was an error or something, but both had the same. It worked, but just a little unnerving.

The 3870X2 block has a very bad bow towards the end, on the last 2 screws, i actually dident even tighten the screws down fully because it was so bad.
But i did make sure the thermal pads where making contact with they needed to.

Did you think about adding 1-2 washers between the block and the card (don't forget to isolate from the pcb) on the point where it bow so badly. Maybe it's just a tolerance error at this spot ?

Same here...... Funny because I found that the front of the card had more of a problem with contact (RAM chips closest to the DVI ports barely make contact with the copper.

Yup that as well, i just put some more ceramique on those chips, but overall the contact across the card was pretty good.
I hope you plan to use the thermal pads!

Once you screw the back plates on the ram gets better contact.

Yeah, that was the "test" fit to see how it fit and such. Did you notice any problems with the counter sink for the top cover? Mine has several poor cuts on it and have requested a new top from EK.

Nope mine looks just fine with different screws actually. Curved ones with no imprints on them.
