    probably missing a couple..

    so, i should just stop @ 637?

heck no, im getting AD797 later today

and after 797/627, im building my own opamp

    4 x opamps per channel

    how does one stop rolling?
The 637's are nice that is what I am using right now. Amazing clarity and high end extension. You stop, by using the ones that suit you best for the time. I think the replaceable opamps will be a common trait on Auzentech cards so keeping a supply of quality opamps will be good thing to do. As for building your own, I am designing my own adapters for a particular use. Already have them laid out in the PCB software. I am interested in trying out the AS797's the specs sheets look very nice.
