Is it able to identify whether a P5B Dlx or a Commando is of the C2 stepping by looking at the numbers on the outside of the motherboard-box?

all Commandos are C2( i think) and here is my P5B DLX C2

Confirmed it by viewing,; 5,979MHz.
I do not save it.

duck with the 9.5 multi could you do 6Ghz validations??

I confirmed more than 6,030MHz many times, but could not save.
However, I do not mind because there is not a target.

I will certainly pass by in the near future.

Can some one test the P965, P35 (DDR2, and DDR3), X38 (DDR2 and DDR3) and compare

this chips with the same Wolfdale CPU?

My Maximus Extreme, and P5E3 DLX can not reach 560MHz with 6 multi, all this with

E8200. But, when I test the MSI X48 this chip can do 550 MHz stable with 7 multi,

and 585MHz spi1m. I think that X48 will be best for max FSB, so far this story

about P965 is ok.

asus P5K(P35): no good (not exceed FSB600)
GIGABYTE P-35 DQ6(P35): I tried two pieces, but they are no good both.
asus COMMANDO: One is good, and the other is no good.

Anyone care to answer this question? I'm also trying to figure out which to get in the near future. Any reason to get one over the other? I can't quite figure it out. None of the half multi's work on either of them? Anything else?? If there's no solid proof of one board being better than the other for OCing, which is the overall better board?

Half multi works just fine on both of them with right bios. P5B-D (C2) is same as Commando but with less voltage options imo.
