Is it able to identify whether a P5B Dlx or a Commando is of the C2 stepping by looking at the numbers on the outside of the motherboard-box?
(excuse the poor sentence structure as it is 04.30 in the morning here in Norway, and I'm a bit sleepy)
...is no longer working as an assistant HVAC/R-installer...
But, is still blasting 20000 songs of real Rap

Yeah Commandos came out later and most are C2

Three or four.
These had all such results.
Confirmed it by viewing,; 5,979MHz.
I do not save it.
I confirmed more than 6,030MHz many times, but could not save.
However, I do not mind because there is not a target.
I will certainly pass by in the near future.
asus P5K(P35): no good (not exceed FSB600)
GIGABYTE P-35 DQ6(P35): I tried two pieces, but they are no good both.
asus COMMANDO: One is good, and the other is no good.
good luck![]()
Haha I'm looking forward to moving onto LN2 and giving you guys a run for your money. Had Absolutely no problems on dry ice....

Other FSBs with different mobos, but same CPU:
Asus Blitz Extreme: 570Mhz
Asus P5B Deluxe: 550Mhz
DFI Lanparty DK P35: 525Mhz
The Commando is great![]()
so p965 is now best for FSB on these 45nm?
BTK is my initials if you were wondering.
i7 8700K - RTX 3090 - 32 GB RAM - ASUS PG35VQ
i5 8600K - GTX 1080ti - 16 GB RAM - ASUS PG27UQ
so is p5b dlz or asus commando better? who is the king of the roost?
Anyone care to answer this question? I'm also trying to figure out which to get in the near future. Any reason to get one over the other? I can't quite figure it out. None of the half multi's work on either of them? Anything else?? If there's no solid proof of one board being better than the other for OCing, which is the overall better board?
Half multi works just fine on both of them with right bios. P5B-D (C2) is same as Commando but with less voltage options imo.
Awesome. That helped me out a lot. And thanks for the quick reply!
edit: Jeez, I've been well aware of this board for many years now I think. Never realized I've never posted here before, lol...
