Hi guys just reworked my dual loop system as the DD D4 pump i've had for years has finally worn my ears out. I've switched to a single loop catered for quietness.
Heres how it looked before
And heres what it looks like now.
The hardware it's running is getting on a bit now

@dark_redeemer
you could try using a polarizer so that the insides will show up more clearly from that angle.![]()

coolhand, watch that foam under that DDC, could cause the pump to overheat and fry.
i haven't problems with the temp, because there is an 120mm fan in the front.
it cooles HDD's an the DDC.
Its just warm, but not to hot for overheat

just a suggestion cause ive seen those ddc's fry without airflow under the pump for the motor.
What the hell is in that thing Gore?
Lol, I washed the FC8800 block 2 days ago and it's worse than this. Like you, I didn't clean the PA120.3 sufficienly.
To remove this dirt, you need to use vinegar with salt first to remove the tarnish and show the copper. After this, rinse with water and arm & hammer to neutralize the vinegar then rinse thoroughly.
ouch town, population you bro. (yes i know corny dodgeball quote, but i feel it was necessary.)
Im guessing you only used distilled water then, no anti-bacteria or a corrosion inhibitor or anything?
This is not enought.
So how do you rinse Thermochill rads right? I rinsed mine with boiling distilled water and no flux or anything came out, it was clear. What am I doing wrong?
