we were stuck at 590Mhz FSB with the chip and P5B DLX so no good

i am going to try some different RAM
just very confused that this board can bench 600Mhz FSB on air and on this particular chip cannot pass 580 stable on LN2 lol

that DDR3 board you have is a gem wow

hmm interesting to hear those fsb problems compared air and sub-zero clocks...
i've got a Commando yesterday, 965 is really amazing for wolfdale, ddr3 mobo's seems much worse for high fsb, p35 and x38 also

my "little" E8400 on water, roomtemp, not maxed out yet

dino pro benched my E8500 in that board and it maxed at 550 on his single stage. I got it 32m stable at 562FSB on my GIG X38 with F2 bios. So maybe this mobo not so good, which sucks.

    yeah he told me

well i have 2xE8400 chips at home that were both stable at 595MHz FSB on air cooling with this board so i will give them a go too

Does the revision plays a significant role in getting higher FSB???

I have E8400 with P5B deluxe (Rev. C1) and max FSB is 550mhz x 6 only on air. The PCB revision is 1.03G

550 with a c1 is quite decent! my friend's p5b dlx c1 won't even go in the mid 400's without insane volts

Mine is also C1 rev. and XP loads up fine wih FSB570MHz, and i am sure it could be stabilized with little more voltage....
I think 600MHz is also achievable with C1 rev!

    This thread is insane
Can some one test the P965, P35 (DDR2, and DDR3), X38 (DDR2 and DDR3) and compare this chips with the same Wolfdale CPU?

    P.S
My Maximus Extreme, and P5E3 DLX can not reach 560MHz with 6 multi, all this with E8200. But, when I test the MSI X48 this chip can do 550 MHz stable with 7 multi, and 585MHz spi1m. I think that X48 will be best for max FSB, so far this story about P965 is ok.

I can say that Asus Commando is no less than P5b ,
I just need a cpu that can do more than 600FSB and i'm done
    with P965
    i7 920, HD4870X2
    Corsair 6GB 1800MHZ
    GigaByte X58 Xtreme,
