Only difference between x48 and x38 is a USB glitch which board manufacturers had a work-around for anyway. Guess Intel found an opportunity to release the same chipset twice!
If Asus tries to treat the x38 any different from x48 (which they seem to be doing already) then my relationship with Asus boards WILL end with this board. This board is a very good board, but I won't have its full potential crippled by an attempt to promote x48 boards over it.
Edit: Now, how many times did I mention "board" in this post?
