I don't think I'll wait for the EVGA 780i FTW edition, if anything I can do a step-up later.

Now, I have 2x 2GB OCZ Reaper, I was wondering if anyone has had luck with 4x 2GB with 400MHz or higher FSB?

I'm NOT looking for extreme overclocks, but I want AT LEAST 9x 400MHz for 3.6GHz on my Q6600.

On a side note, is 2x 8800GTX really that much better than 2x 8800GT? I have one of each card right now, and I'm not sure which one to buy next.
hitting 400mhz should be a walk in the park...

I noticed you have 8GB with a Q6600 on the 780i also! What are your RAM's rated at and what are they set it? May I have your BIOS settings?

    Thanks!

How does this board run with RAM, dividers etc? Board gives Vdim readout in Bios?

Currently on Asus P5E got my Corsair Dominator PC10000 kit doing:

    1280Mhz 5-5-5-18 @ 2.4V 24/7 stable

How long till eVGA 780I FTW edition comes out... should prove a ever better Ocer! for sure but nice touch will be no reinstall of vista etc as same board estentially!!

Ill order a 60x15 and 25mm thick fans just to be sure defo want suck vs blow right? this on NB btw!

Well, I pulled the trigger on a new Evga 780i early this morning...Here's hoping that it will outperform my Abit 680i...and by outperform I mean actually run at stock speeds without crashing!

Anyway, this will be my first Evga board. Let's hope that this experience doesn't go the same way my first Abit experience went. I don't want to think I am an Asus fanboi, but hey, so far I love that company.

Actually, I am a little worried about the 780i. The problems I was having with the 680i were those ghost problems no one can seem to figure out. I had two different boards thorugh abit (RMAd my first one) and they both refuse to work, which leads me to believe I have a hardware incompatibility or something. That, or its just the "it might work, it might not work" syndrome so plagueing the 680i boards. My hope is that the 780i, though really just a juiced up 680i, won't have the same issues with my current hardware setup that my 680i board did.

Only time will tell! Wish me luck on my new hardware adventure! (Read here as adventured in spending large quantities of money on part for "enthusiasts" which may or may not work depending)
