Would it be worth buying the DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2RS when I already have an Abit IP35 Pro being RMA'd? Would it be a better board for OC'ing? I know somebody that will import it from america (newegg) for me but I will have to pay for customs.

Passed >4h of Prime95 Small FFTs with my old L722A Q6600 at 1.44v 9 x 400FSB (shows chip OK) but just couldn't go over a mere 40mins of Blend without system rebooting. Dropped one multiplier to 8x with same settings (shows mobo/RAM settings OK) and it clears, obviously the onboard 4 phase supply can't supply stable enough to keep both chip and mobo happy at the same time or can there any other possible reason/s?
Using a newish Corsair 620HX.
NB cooling ?
edit : only a 120mm @ 800rpm over the NB/RAM gave me 22-24c less on the NB (AND the stock cooler on the Q9550 is temporary...the tuniq doesn't fit)

Overall cooling is a must, I got a 120mm for the PWM/RAM/NB and another 120mm at the base for the SB area and I'm just OCing mildly for now...![]()

Got a reboot after 3.5 hours of Prime. bummer.
I used the same settings as with the 475*8 run, only this time I changed back to 423*9.
Sometimes, I got reboots after 30 minutes of Prime.
Maybe it might be a heat issue with the NB and PWM's, as they got over 70°.
Placed a 80mm right before the NB, and temps went down to low 40's, but still got that reboot after 3.5hours.
I just received my DFI UT35, gonna give that one a try.(unless you want me to have another go).
I think the DK will go in another rig, along with a E6750.

No problem.
I don't know why I get these reboots, not even a BSOD or so. Just hard reboots.
I was suspecting my memory (2Gb Ballistix PC8500) with even at 333/667 mem divider, I got these reboots.
Also keep in mind that I'm running my quad at 3.8Ghz, which might be a little to much for this board.

Same thing I got with my Q6600@3.6 doing Prime95 Blends, sudden system reboots when Small FFTs clears over 4hrs without problems, see post #184 above.
The stock NB sticker/wty issue is a PITA since NB temps are uncomfortably high with overvolted quads.
Indeed, those spots (NB and PWM's) need some good active cooling.

Regarding the Tuniq Tower and the p35 dark. I had to mount it exhausting up instead to back of the case.
