Just go back to the EZ Flash and start reflashing your board with the exact same bios. Right in the middle of the writing of the bios shut the power off from the computer. Next turn your computer back on and put in your asus driver cd and let the bios recovery do its magic.

When it's done the bios will be back to whatever it was shipped with. The you can flash to whatever newer bios you want.

When system is starting up, a cursor flashes in top-left corner of the screen for a few seconds, followed by Windows loading. What is this? Is there any way to disable it?

The new bios looks great to me!
I'm finally running my QX9650 with ddr3@1800 really stable!

Just an info, i'm going to keep my little qx9650 for a while, what's the vcore you would use in order to not shorten too much the life of these new 45nm cpus?

P.S. I think it'd be useful if other P5E3 users would take a look here http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=175889.
If this shows up to be a common problem, we could talk here about this =)

If you had a CD/DVD in your CD/DVD drive and that is set to boot prior to HD, it'll do exactly that. Change the boot order, make your HD first in the boot order.

Ram is at 2002mhz, 2.16v. Corsair Dominator

It's not 24/7 stable but ran out of time last night to play with voltages. Now that I know which settings affect what I may put my Q6600 back in and hope I can get 475-500FSB (if i'm lucky)

Ram at 1N, but the cpu is just at 450*7,5, booster on 2
I'm planning to raise it to 450*8, then it'll be enough for me, the right overclock for daily use at air i think

My non-existent floppy-drive was set to 1st boot priority, so I disabled that and no more flashing cursor! Thanks for your help.

Found a weird problem with the board! When "LoadLine Calaboration" is enabled the board becomes very unstable above 1.6V watching the voltage readings in CPU-Z when set at 1.6V with loadline enabled I can't boot into vista above 4.6Ghz but if I set 1.6V loadline disabled it boots everytime!

The voltages jump quite a bit aswell when loadline enabled - I watched the voltage jump to 1.704V to 1.632V when set to 1.6750 in bios! Not what I call a quality power system!

I think its something to do with the EPU unit???

    Cheers for the heads up.

Would you know if this bios is compatible with the standard P5E3 Deluxe, as I notice this time it's been posted in the WiFi section?

    Testing BIOS 1104 now.

So far so good.... Better results then the earlier bioses.

Hoping it helps fix my constant hangs with a 8800 Ultra. That is pretty much my only problem left.

Each BIOS revision seems to get better and better for me (minus 901 which killed ram voltage setting)

I just wish they had a changelog with each revision so I know if it is all in my head or not.

    Currently running: 400x9.5 for 3.8GHz /w 1.4v in bios (Line-Load calibration enabled) 1.9v to 1600mhz Corsair RAM +.1v over recommended (7-7-7-20).

Will test for a bit then try 400x10.

Anyone know of any cold boot issues with this board just built myself a new system and i'm having a bit of a headache with it. The system will run fine but every now and a again it won't post it just turns back off it will get as far as the mem test phase the only way i can seem to be able to get around this is the clear the bios(bat out etc etc) and start again. Ha you wouldn't believe the fun i had try to get my raid to run.
