Mb has 38C
NB has 50C
SB has 47C


and processor has still 11C

showing in bios...core temp..asus probe..everest...

Only 1 core displaying in Core temp you better check that

you right .. now is displaying Core 0 and Core 1 core one has 22C and core 0 has 14C...

core temp 0.96.1 showing core 0 12C core 2 16 ....
when i running 3dmark06 core 0 shows... 17C and core 2... 16C

DFI's digital pwm makes selecting proper vcore more difficult with vid + special vid % method. You can derive the same vcore using different vid + % combinations but they'll result in different levels of stability for prime95 etc.

I'd also double check all your settings to see if they're all the same as before down to memory related settings too.

Weird, I reset all the settings the same as I saved it all in CMOS reloaded.
I ended up flashing the BIOS to 1/11/2008 and then dropping GTL settings VERY low compared to what I have for my QX9650.

VID @ 1.1 (or 1.2? I forget) and GTL settings @ 40/50/60... now it's Priming like fun.

I got one from zzf yesterday, Q743A756. I've seen 3 Q743's posted. 2 were at 4G and the other at 4.5G. All were on air. I'll probably try this one out tomorrow.

i use Aircooling core idle 49/51 change over to water still 49/51 i don't really know what is going on, unless my water cooling is . I touch the water block base it not even warm.

I like the egg a little better, but they charge me tax, so I've ordered from zzf quite a bit over the years and they've for the most part been excellent. Their prices are usually very good and I like the free shipping. It was even better when they were shipping free 2nd day air.

Almost every board is giving wrong temps for the E8xxx
Don't worry about it for the time being until a new BIOS or software to get a correct reading.

It just does not want to go 500 on the FSB. LOL. Will do 499 but not 500. Anyway, here is my SuperPi

Yeah. It will boot and everything but I get "SuperPi encountered an error and must shut down" and then it hangs there and will not close. My buddy hit the same wall with the same board so possibly it is the board but he is throwing 1.6v+ at it and got Pi to run. Not sure i want to go there with this 45nm chip but we'll see. The temps are fine as far as I can tell.

I've already returned the first batch we had at work since they all read completely wrong temps, now waiting for the 2nd one.

My temp readings are bad as well. The chips seems to be running cool, though, as i feel almost no heat coming from my rad ( I am on water). Not having a good indication of temps is disturbing though. I hate to RMA such a good clocker but it is worthless on the resale market as is.
