The ones where i work use quimonda, but they might change ram every now and then.

You would be best off going to a comp store and ask to have a look at the cards they have in stock

I have updated the list and made corrections. I have not added any information yet apart from this but soon will add the rules and the league tables up there too.

When you are posting your results please include whether it is Anything Goes or Air cooled you are submitting for. Core and mem Mhz would be good too.

I think I might adapt an old retail heatsink from an X6800 but being a half height card I will have to hacksaw it in half so it fits and then clamp it on.

I'll try it on my POV 8400GS first and post results.

    Regards

    Ady

While im yet to test it, i think XFX might be a good choice
    Samsung memory and chunky power.

Ok, I ran around some shops, this is what I found out:
    - ASUS has Hynix memory and very beefy PWM (at least it looks beefy)
    - Gigabyte has Hynix memory but PWM looks a bit weaker
    - Palit has Qimonda memory, it looks to be the worst choice.
ASUS is most expensive of those.

CPU-Z, GPU-Z, and memset would always be nice to compare. I could only hit DDR2-840 with my crappy Samsung ram, I sure hope it simply needs more voltage.

    Nice work oohms.

Note that there is no rule about what you have to show, however it would be sporting to show as much as you can of course. If people wish to make it a rule then if common concensus has it then so be it. Personally I don't think we should get too bogged down in rules though and let common sense and general opinion be the guide.

Oohms added to the first post as our current #1 in aircooled 2001

No problem, technically anyone can join up till the finish time which is last day of Feb - but which might end early if everyone has gone as far as they can etc.
