can you please buy me one and do the voltmods since i'm not very good at it and you kick ass

hehe, masterpain and I had the exact same idea...
but flexible riser card is nearly as expensive as a 8400gs

now going to make a gpu pot.

i actually meant to do this for all GFX cards but not sure if there is a performance penalty for using extenders

I wonder also, I imagine a slight penalty due to the additional latency induced by the lenghtier traces, but if it's 1%, 5% or 0.0001% slower, who knows.

I was more of looking of a way to strap the card to the cascade head... I think the mounting holes are barely wider than the evaporator, maybe a C-clamp on the evaporator and a plate on the back of the card?

Well seeming we are going with a 8400gs, im in!

Probably be grabbing a PNY one from work cause i got £20 to spend on something. May as well be on something fun!

In which case, it should be a 256MB low profile one with Hynix memory. PCB looks familiar to the XFX one. Should be getting it on friday, so expect results from me at the weekend!

I've updated the list on the front page, I could not work out if dinos22 was saying yes or no so I have left him out for now, please advise.

When the rules seem that nobody suggests changes so are fairly stable I will put those up as well, plus the leaderboard.

Currently there is nobody leading the 2001 or 03 ORB, the 03 ORB for approved drivers is actually blank currently So first person to post will be top of the ORB!

I have removed some old scores I had to avoid confusion as they do not count.

Anymore people wishing to compete?

You may be right there because from my past results qith Qimonda memory non volt modded you will only get 10-15% increase in memory speed and as these cards are 64 bit you really need to get a card with as fast memory as possible..

Finally, there is a rumour that some Chinese companies are selling defunct 8500GT cards as 8400GS so might even have GDDR3.
