Just got a 8400 from Mwave, 745A551. Put it in my Microfly with a P5E -VM HDMI and TR120 UL. Using onboard video to start. Need to update bios but hate to on an Asus mb. Temps are way off. Using Vista 64-bit so no coretemp.
Edit: updated bios but temps are still way off.

is your heatsink as hot? if you are used to, and if you have a good contact, may you guess the real temp by touching it, very approximatively?Why my cpu is so hot
