I has been over a month since the latest BIOS 0907 came out. What are they thinking?

    My thoughts exactly.

They need to fix the broken memory dividers and implement better MCH settings like the rampage will get.

I think, they have enough to work with other boards. Next bios will come....

Does anyone know when the Rampage is due anyway? I'm fed up with my IP35 Pro's odd behavior these days, so I'm looking to change to something else.

Yea man it definitely did......well it sucks but I'm going to look for the best performance setting. This seems to be the only way to get the dividers stable past 400 FSB (maybe 415......)
I'm going to test voltages and such tonight.....I'll post my final results.
So far I'm SuperPi 32M stable with relax 2.....failed at relax 1.
I may be able to make up for lost latency/bandwidth by tightening timings.....

It's really interesting how the same board performs differently for each person. I've managed to find a stable spot with Transaction Booster set to disabled and relaxed at 0. At least it's Prime and OCCT stable. I haven't tried SuperPi..

the dividers are stable for me past 400FSB
I run the 333 strap with a 478FSB and get great bandwidth, I've even had the 266 strap stable on a 450FSB

I'm wanting to flash to 0907, but the file is too big for a floppy disk and I have no USB flash disk, how else can I flash to 0907 without using the the utility in windows to do it since I've heard bad things about doing it that way?

Asus update, but not recommended. (Don't even sneeze while it's flashing )

Edit: A fat partition on the jmicron controller? An ipod? A blank CD?

I have used Asus Update 3 times and all were a success, I would recommend NOT running an overclock while you flash in Windows

    Hey Zucker2k

What are you running your 8400 for 24/7 use?
I'm getting split screen in 3DMark06 if I go higher than 500FSB

I need some sound help here

I am running the supreme card. Problem is I have a 4.1 altec lansing sound system . this was a $300 system alot of years ago. With my msi neo 2 system it was great useing the spdif out rca. Im using that now BUT I ONLY GET SOUND WITH TWO FRONT SPEAKERS. Our supreme card wants only one plug in for rear speakers. Well I have TWO that mormally plug into the woofer.

SPDIF is being handled diff here.

If I can get a signal out to both REAR speakers I have from the ONE port of the card. WHAT can i use to tie in the second input. It looks like I MIGHT NEED A SPLITER HERE????? WILL A SPLITER WORK ? If I can resolve Im going to have to go LIVE platinum setup. I would rather not add that expense.

Anyone got solid experience? Should I post this somewhere else?

Do to the nature of this thread is why I asked. I haven't found any configs using E8400 (maybe I missed it). Would like to know any tweaks.

    Not bad at 3.6GHz

Hello! Here are mine, with the help of some people on this forum. If you look, I think a couple others posted their settings. Zucker just did, and you can find Grnfinger's HERE. I had to stop at 4.23 because I'm using a lot more vCore than most people are reporting. You should be able to get this stable with a lower vCore. I don't know what's wrong with my setup, but I need all 1.4375.
