There's so many components screened in, but not mounted...i think clock limit is purposeful to limit power consumption...

I dont get what that screw on the far right of the top view pics is for?

If you look in the pic (the one above the last pic), you will notice there is 2 copper pieces so it's added after milling.

Hi!
The single screw is there just because we had to fixate the block during manufacturing of the bottom side. Less vibrations... Nicer milling. The block weights 0,92 KG.

yeah, you'd think that since the 3870x2 is ATI's highend it wouldn't be capped like how the 2900xt doesn't have any clock limits (its not capped anyways, you get the point)

Ouch, pretty expensive but the size warrant it anyway. Less expensive than crossfire (2x fullcovers) however.
