Good suggestion for the program. I really like it!. My max PWM Load temp is 58, NO fans or anything. Thats with my highest OC of 4.3mhz. With stock Load is about 48

Alright So i did Clear Cmos and take out battery for over 2 hours. Loaded Optimised. Didn't change no setting other then RAID. Everything AUTO, Power saving features still don't work. Damn i really want that feature! Its working on 3 other Systems that i have but not on this. Is Abit even working on a New Bios for Wolfdales/Penryns? Or is this Motherboard long Forgotten?

Is that your PWM @ 48 celcius or your CPU? My PWM is @ 45 celcius when idling. I havent done any tests yet because I will have new ram in a few days so I can start overclocking properly and testing then. I still havent gotten an answer to my CPU temps though.

ABIT has a bad habbit of forgetting motherboards after a short time but I do hope they give us a good Bios. I am also after flashing back to Bios 16 b03 and I find more voltage options than there is in beta4.

I just wanted to check what the temps of PWM should be. I also was wondering what PWM is? My temp under full load (prime95 on all four cores) is 93-95c.

I'm also experiencing some random instability under full load and am looking for some help to clear this up.

    My voltages are as follows:
    CPU: 1.550 BIOS, 1.510-1.520 (CPU-Z 1.43), 1.50-1.520 (uGuru), 1.45v Load
    DDR2: 2.225
    VTT: 1.42
    MCH: 1.74
    ICHIO: 1.70
    DDR2 Reference: +2%
    CPU GTLREF 1-4: 69%

    CPU is at 9x400=3.5Ghz
    Memory is at 1000Mhz (1:1.25) 5-5-5-15

Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?

1st of all, stop using 1:1.25 FSB to memory ratio...use 1:1 until you find a suitable, stable overclock for yourself...once everything is soild, you can start playing around with the memory straps...1:1 and 1:1.2 are the 1333 mhz straps...those should give you the highest FSB based on the installed hardware, mobo, set voltages and installed cooling.

I'm confused about how signaling technique can have a temperature? Maybe PWM means something else here?

What memory strap do you guys all use when running a 400Mhz FSB?

i have a e6750 i put a very mild OC from 2.66 to 3.0 put ram on a divider seemed fine then today i got a new case fan i turned on PC then quickly turned off again with switch checking the fans were going a few times went into windows noticed was at stock speed, did it think something was wrong and put speed to stock? thanks

since it controls the power to the processor, hence, you have heat produced and in need to be monitored by temperature sensor...the only thing abit didn't do with this particular board is to add the amps that it uses during idle or load...it does for the digital PWM's that are on the AB9 QuadGT and the IX38 QuadGT.

that is like an overclock fails so it automatically resets itself to stock speed settings...if you want to check a fan, allow it to post to the first screen before shutting it down.

don't forget you can add (save) bios profiles by using the F6 key...F7 key puts them back into effect...(after getting into the bios)

No official thread for us IP35-E users??

Anyway im currently using a IP35-E and im wondering on the following

Currently im overclocking at 3.2Ghz ( 400FSB & 1.315vcore in bios , all other voltages are left in stock )

My windows idle vcore is 1.280 and loads at 1.232 ( about a week ago it was at 1.240 ) during full load my PWM temps shoot as high as 70c with a decent fan blowing over it.

are the above values pretty normal ?

Is there a particular voltage that goes to them PWM that we adjust and control?

since you are relatively new here, i will be easy on you....you should do a search or just click through the pages to find the IP35-E thread:

ok my ip35 pro is being weird
whenever I set a vcore in bios it always give .2 volts under, I don't have c1e or the other thing enabled, it's not vdroop because it's doing it when idling, anyone know what should I do?

oh! the bios is version 14

i saw your spec same as mine !

would you mind to give your OC settings ???

what bios are u at ? im at bios 14 that came with the board !

I haven't tested all stable freqs yet bcos i have box-cooler. 4320mhz i have on it with open window and frosty wind.
PS: my PC is 1000km far from me. And it will be a little difficult to give all settings
Bios 14 for me has better OC than 16B03. 16B04 is not flashable for me at all.
im running crucial ballistix at 1000Mhz 4-4-4-12
my ballistix can't do that - what's your settings for ram?
by the way how to check mobo version?
it is written on the box and on the sticker between socket and ram.

I have a Q6600. I am after flashing both 16 beta 03 and beta 04 to my motherboard and the motherboard came with bios 14 installed. I was trying to look for voltage options and in the original bios in UGURU I was looking through the voltage options. In Beta 03 I found a few more options than there was in the other bioses. I have an option for DDR offset and another voltage setting (that I cant rember) has a few more voltage options also.
