Count me in too, if we can get a category for NVidia cards. I think the Geforce 9 low-end cards would be nice... Does anyone know when these will be available?

    I'd say a 8400GS... I've been sick of the HD2400/HD2600 "overclocking bugs".

8400GS is the best one for this price range maybe

Sounds fun...I might be in if time allows. This could be the cheapest card I'll kill.

dont get the hd2400 pro we just had a contest with that card and experienced a core lock at 857 mhz which could be achieved by passive cooling.
no matter how much vgpu we gave nothing changes.
    Overclocking made in Austria

That's what I was talking about when I said "buggy ATi HD2400/2600 overclocking"...you need to use AMD GPU Clock Tool, and skip from 857MHz to 890MHz...it'll work

Also... 1000MHz didn't work for me... 1001MHz did... 1047MHz was unstable while 1053MHz was benchable

    Rules, copied from 1st post
    1) It's about having a laugh rather than winning.
    2) Rule #1 is subject to change if we get really desperate as is the XS tradition

And for prizes, doubt there will be any except being crowned the 2008 XS Cheapazchips 3D Champion, which should be a huge honor

A good and fair contest needs much more rules.
