As soon as I saw the clocks and pictures my jaw dropped on the floor.

Those clocks are nothing short of amazing. Excellent work Hipro

What were your max clocks before the mods?

    Dynasty,

Kp's nature test is boosted cuzz he only run that test...
Hipro did the 3dmark complete run!

If hipro run just nature with those clocks at same tweaks/lod's score would be bigger

No LOD by me....... (I think that I have left it about LOD=1 as I had it for 2k3 bench.....
Maybe it will be over 900fps with LOD over 3....

NOT the new caps added.....They have nothing to do with the cold bug, they are only for the voltage....
"Something else" did the trick.....If you go back to my 1900XTs thread, you may find something out.....

It did ~ 1250MHz (not for all 3Ds - straight benching) and 970MHz rams (tight timmings).....and I haven't YET pushed the rams higher.......I have left them in a "safe limit"....

NO my friend.......IT MUST do 1350MHz+ CF or nothing.....

OR you might want to see some 1500MHz+ on Gigabytes 3870s

A higher VDDCI is the solution to the coldbug. It's the voltage for the MC in the core. I think with a lower temperature some internal latencies are automatically decreased (like with the AMD coldbug) and you need a higher VDDCI to compensate for this. How close am I George?

Almost there but nowadays ATIs have no circuit for a "straight VDDCI"...

You mean VDDCI is variable? Did you fix it to a high value using a bios mod or something like that? Did you force the card to always run 3D maybe by disabling the hotkey poller service?
