    With this hsf, temp. in bios around 38 with almost 1.5Vcore idle...
    With +1.6Vcore probly will go higher Mhz

    Temp in BIOS means nothing
    idle temp means almost nothing.

    Whats the load temps in Core Temp 0.96?

    Yes, I know that Probly around 40 or 50.

    This particular E8500 ES 739XXXX maxed at 545-547 FSB (on air)...I think the same goes with E8500 retail 740XXXX.

    It seems like E8400 retail can do >550 FSB.

    Over 540FSB on Maximus not a problem Spi 1M.
