Holy Crap! it took me a sec to notice the 2560x1600 and I was thinking that it was horrible. 9.5 at the res is crazy.

I´ve no feeling for 3d06 scores at that resolution, anyone can do a rought downcalculation to "normal" 1280x1024 score ?

Wow thats pretty impressive at that resolutioon. Will be interesting to see how it performs in games. Im awaiting the 9800GX2 because if that doesnt perform this could be the answer. Much better than what i was expecting.

Any clarification as to if this is R680 or just two 3870s? Also, this should have been done in the standard resolution as well.

I'm pretty sure its a single r680, look at the friggin card, it has 2 gpus and a bridge link, its obvious that's the dual card

I thought he was just posting the pics there for reference. Meh, maybe he's got it. That'd be cool. Ivanqu can you verify that this is a bench of the actual card and not 2x3870?

it's probably no different than my dual 3870 setup, but i still think it's a cool card. i'm such a sucker for marketing hype sometimes. smack a couple vf900's on that bad boy and you'll have the meanest looking video card on the block.

$100 says it scales way better than your two 3870's. Got PayPal?

For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

i hope it scales better than my CF. that means it would beat the 9800GX2, which would really put a smile on my face. Nvidia has gotten smug over the last year and needs to be put in its place.

Fudzilla claims that 3DMark run was done with an E6600 at stock clocks. i just about soiled myself. this new X2 is the real deal.

i believe it has 2*3870 performance...
the only thing that will differ is clock per clock scaling-performance..

He means the drivers "posted" (said) they were two 3870's, but in fact they weren't.
