It won't boot below -15C @ stock. -5C brings the HTT wall to around 280MHz... 7C is needed for 320MHz... @ 18C it crashed @ 363MHz, and 20C, 364MHz...

I think subzero won't help me here... BUT I'll try again.. maybe 1.7v will change things a bit more than expected!

Found an cheap X2 3800+ Manchester last visiting ebay so I bought him, here are some results:

Cold bug smells like that:
324 MHz @ -40c
332 MHz @ -35c
340 MHz @ -30c

Got with my single stage around -43c on desktop with that X2 --> amazing !
maximum voltage I could give was 1.985 v....didn´t see more than 2 volts on an X2

Yeah I grabbed that 154 Had to decide on what to get, DFI Venus or opty 154. Didn't like that he couldn't tell the stepping, but the 154 i have atm isnt too great.

Nice voltage on that X2 btw. Hehe. But that bug isn't very nice, you need to have temps @ like -10c to -15c to be able to get 370sb which is what you need to get the wr.

Mine X2 3800+ isnt good enough to take the record...and I also know that low sub zero is the key for high htt.

That opteron 154 was tested with liquid metal pro so you cant see whats on the heat spreader. that told me the seller.

That venus board was sold for more than 150 euro.....

it suffers from the coldbug above 300mhz htt.

Your CPU isn't the best, but it's not the worst I've seen either. I guess your ambient was about 30-40c hotter than the WR ambient ;-)
