You must have No idea what your talking about.

Crysis is what we in the field of game design call "Future-Proof" meaning the engine can last for many years. It supports a Very Super high res texture in a game known-to-date. And The Phys engine is very good too.

I was in Crysis Multiplayer beta very early, and I could say without a doubt that it has gotten alot of Optimization. In the beginning of the beta. GTX/Ultras in DX9 would only get 15FPS max, no matter med-high settings or what res the screen was set to. Now in the Retail we are seeing 50FPS Max'ish in Very High on DX9, and 25-35 FPS On Very High DX10. So before you slam on Crysis saying it has "worst possible attempt at Optimization", You need to stop, Look at how Optimization it is now, Compared to before, And how useful it can be in 1-2 years game engine wise.

also, NFS:PS has a new system EA hasn't gotten much time in, aka, The Damage system, Other then that, being the only part thats not really optimized. The rest is really good, I get 70-90 FPS on all max settings. Thats better then crysis, but NFS:PS isn't DX10.

Anyways, Back on topic.

I can't wait for the G9800GTX ^_^
