    Hey Naekuh,

PC Power & Cooling 1200W has six PCI-E connectors (and other gizmos) and you'll be all set and ready to go

The box from PCP&C doesn't include Bose noise reduction headphones though... been looking for it... its not included ? damn lol

It be interesting if someone had dual core e6750 or e6850 pop in and see how high they OC fsb on these boards.
i don't think 780i will do much different from A1/D00 680i so similar quad OCing but not more dual core wise

i tested my E6850 a couple of days ago that can do around 515MHz FSB 32M superpi on air with X38 and it can boot to windows at 500 with 680i i have but i need to drop 5-10 mhz to make it stable

i was able to prime my quad core Q6600 at 468MHz FSB for an hour so it was pretty decent

i will be testing a 780i board on monday with LN2 and QX9650 which i know has some issues running stable on asus x38 board past 415MHz FSB and DDR3 gigabyte but it can do 450 with ddr2 gigabyte board which was very odd lol

anyways i am hoping to get near 450 with the 780i for our testing with all sorts of different nvidia cards on the day with some mid-5GHz clocks or thereabouts

He has the PC8000 4-4-4-5 kit GAR , same as me, I specially bought it to get tight latencies at 1000mhz though it seems the same bug as on my Striker board... look at his 1mb Superpi, really not impressive for 4.5Ghz (CPU with 12Mb) with ram at 1140mhz with 4-4-4-5... my 4-4-4-12 ram ( PC6400 HZ) runs better on the Striker then the 8000 kit did... (EVA2000 always said that an ES model runs slower on SuperPi than a retail one, maybe also why they reach such high clocks )

But at least the QX9650 clocks nicely on the board
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

nvidia chipset sux at superpi but they are closer to intel in 1M than 32M

i tested an E6850 yesterday with 680i and around 4.3GHz i was getting 11.8s so that yorkfield result looks about right

guys if your RAM can do 575MHz 4-4-4-x chances are it will also do 4-3-3-x timings at similar clocks / volts

    try that next time

I just want to say that the TRAS of 5 doesn't help at all on my 680i it even makes performance worse with my Striker, I payed big cash for those rams and in the end they are just as good as my old OCZ at 4-4-4-12 1000mhz nothing special with the TRAS...

The 12mb cache should help the score a lot , I was shocked when my mate benched his E6600 at 3.2Ghz to my E6400 at 3.2ghz, his was way faster just due to cache on the CPU ( 3200 with 8 x 400) , same mobo (P5W) ram (PC6400HZ 4-4-4-12) in test then ...

~4.1-4.2GHz, it really starts taking alot of voltage to go past 4.2 on my chip.

Thanks, the V-droopmod that GAR did does not help to get a bit more out of it without upping vcore?
