    Project~Black

hey guys getting some new gear(mobo, case, watercoolin) so gona be doing a small bit of modden !

going to be spraying the internals of the case black.cutting the top to fit a PA360.going doing some smaller stuf like modding the fan holders and cable sleeving also cutting some holes for me cables !!!

    so here's the parts:
    Lian Li PC-A70B
    Asus Maximus x38
120.3 Rad Grill with Mounting Holes
    Sunbeam Rheobus (Black)
loads of heat srink and braid
    loads of paint

    Watercooling:

Ek supream(hopefully the new best block on the market)
    Masterkleer 7/16" ID
    ThermoChill PA120.3
    Ek res
    Laing ddc3.2 with petra top
    Maze 4

    first off i soldered/sleeved my 3 yate loons to 1 3pin header.

here are some pics of the gear :

    EK Supream

see how well lapped it is.

    EK 150 Res

The res is smaller then i tought but it will do.

    Chilled pc rad grill

OK started preping the case to be primed and then sprayed.

here is a template i made for cutting the holes for the PA120.3

here is a pic of the case after the 2nd coat was applied, all the parts you see here have been covered and the parts where the paint ran has been sanded and reaplied

    My asus maximuss

I am also officially jealous. It's been below freezing here for weeks, and I have no garage to work in I've got a tarp over a table!

Coming along beautifully man, although I would go with something other than the hydrx. It works fine as an anti-corrosive, but the color leaves something to be desired IMO. It looks a lot like antifreeze, which is a bit murky for my tastes... better off with some dye.

That's just nitpicky though, beautiful job so far... wish I could apply paint evenly.

The A70 is a very nice design. Great price too. Sold out here in Oz.

You've got a nice build going there.

Need to cover those fan wires, though. I hate the spokes showing.
