    Project Blackline worklog.(still in progress)

Allright thought I might start up a work log on m current project and see if you guys have any interesting suggestions.

First with the old PC, which is what I am using right now till this ones complete.

    Now to the new stuff.

    Parts Galore.

Radiator. I am gonna house this thing completely, using an external aluminum housing which needs some cutting, over the weekend.

that case is so sexy too bad it isn't designed for watercooling at all. internal is no hope because the front is totally blocking intake by the cover and the back is blocked by the extra "bling" so external on the back isn't possible without taking away the looks

It's for Thermochill compatibility. I just wish they had flushmount versions without the exterior holes for external radiators.

Yup that is a Kikboxes grill, bought from FrozenCPU the only place I could find it in stock. The oblong holes are actually really nice if you plan on getting some aluminum and build a housing which is what I am working on right now will post pics as its done.

I think those 2 cases are the most awful things I've ever seen in my whole life, including the ugly radgrill with the simple soul "tribal" theme.

but keep on going, within a year or 5 you're fine sorry m8 not really my taste

Looks nice. Though, I am not a huge fan of the spaceship look, but I like the way you designed it.
I will say, from the look of those big legs, that you may have been able to mount it underneath the case and still had room.
    Look Good either way

    Update time.

I had a question what blue dye do you guys suggest or UV light. Cause the stuff I have doesnt seem to provide a bright enough contrast. I think the UV light is fine but the dye seems to be the problem part. I am using FrozenCPU.com's blue dye.

    Any suggestions

I probably would have sprung for the HX620...especially if you plan on OCing.

was debating going 520 or 620 will see once I get the PSU and how the output is. I am not crazy about OCing i like to do it to an extent not pushing the limit

So are you WCing just for the sake of it then?

Are you saying that WC'ing is for OC'ers only? If so, that's a pretty snobby attitude. I've built only mATX/SFF rigs for the last 7 years and until late, the MoBo manu's haven't paid much attention to mATX BIOS OC features. Air was just starting to get too loud for me back in March of '03, that's when I started using WC. It's just so much more quiet than air that my HDD's are now my biggest source of annoying noise.
    Circles SucQ!

If your annoyed by sigs telling you to put things in your sig, then put this in your sig

Bribery won't work on me...just say NO to AT!!!

I guess I just don't see why someone would go through the work or spend all that money to not OC at least a little...especially with air coolers like the TRUE being dead silent. I'm not snobby about it...I guess I'm of the mind that WCing is usually so you can get better OCs. Anyway, I'm not saying you shouldn't OC, it's your prerogative
