I was getting some random errors with prime and orthos, I thought it was my CPU overclock or FSB.
At the end I discover it was the RAM. My Axeram 800 doesn't like 1080 with 5-5-5-15.
I had to change my setup for 400*9 with RAM at 1000 to get it stable with 2.1V.
It is a great deal but I think I got a bad batch.
Did you guys notice that the heatspreaders are not well placed? They don't touch every chip, I had to take them off and put it again with pressure over specific points.

yah but you have the 800mhz model which I believe uses the same heatspreader as the 1066mhz model.

If you look on page 2 of this thread I posted what the 1200mhz model looks like and its a gigantic aluminum heatspreader, kinda like the corsair Dominator series.

But either way Im going to use my own heat spreader... no aluminum for me

well newegg deactivated the item now for some reason... oh well... $144 was a good price and now if I want to buy this ram I have to get it from TRanscend Online store which has it for $177
    http://ec.transcendusa.com/product/I...=TX1200QLJ-2GK

So for $7.99 more I can get this here
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820313009
(ofcoruse I am referring to the After-Rebate price of $184.99 which isnt too bad since this is clocked at 100mhz more than the Transcend)

I just hope it works with the evga 680i board.... I should be getting it this week on Wed.

hi everybody,i have bought this transcend 2gb pc9600 but i have a little problem to overclok them.
i can do 623 at 5-5-5-15 with 2.2v but no more high.i increase the voltage to 2.55v ant this is the same thing.spi 32mo desn't work at 624 but it works at 623....
I have done with my q6600 415*7 ans the ram on 2/3 for 623mhz.my q6600 is stable at 3.4ghz so it's not that.
do you know why?i have forgotten something in my bios?
i have a fan on them so i don't understand....
    this is my timings

    thank you

sorry.. dunno what exact option is called for it in asus boards, but its prolly something like mch or something close to that, if it doesnt exist, just try northbridge voltage since memory controller is in there.

I bought two 2x1GB Axe PC8500 kits. Did anyone try it on 790FX chipset yet?

I dont know if the mobo might be holding me back but I didnt manage to get 585Mhz out of it from 2.15 to 2.35V's. I did one stupid thing though, mix the sets but CPU-Z reports them from the same week (50/07) so I dont think it would matter a lot.

Also CPU-Z reports them as PC-6400 while the name is reported correctly: TX1066QLJ-2GK. What's with that?

Waiting for DFI 790FX-M2R mobo now so maybe it's just my board not liking high DDR speeds. Apart from the DFI 790FX-M2R I didnt see anyone using high DDR speeds at all on 790FX so who knows. But if that doesnt work I can always use 504Mhz 4-4-4-10, maybe better timings once I get the new mobo.

And if it matters, all 4 sticks have the 'N' on the sticker. Didnt take off heatspreaders though to check if they really are D9GMH, but I guess it should be.

    Great work

You think 2,3v 24/7 is too much for gmh (with a good air flow)?
You know something about compatibility with p5b?

there shouldn't really be a problem with p5b...many ppl clocked the crap outa that board and many will have been using d9gmh.

in my opinion d9gmh ic's are weak...yes they clock like mad and respond to voltage...but they also die way too easily...so for 24/7 i would run them as low as possible...and when benching if you push them hard don't be supprised if they fail.
this applies to all brands using d9gmh

Today i got free time.... I answered to transcend about the compatibility with p5b-deluxe, just arrived this reply:

    Dear Kaktys,

The TX1200QLJ-2GK should work OK on the P5B-deluxe.

    Best regards,

Crucial for Ballistix declared 2.2V, only one producer declares more than 2.2V and that is OCZ with Reaper series.
So, I think that it's risky to go above 2.1V w/o airflow and above 2.2V with airflow for everyday OC.

I am having issues with this ram and would like to get some input. I currently have 4x1GB sticks of the 1200+ ram and I am trying to get it to work in a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P. I can get either set to work independently using only 2 sticks at 1200 and pretty much everything else stock at 2.2v memory settings. I toss in the other 2 sticks and I can't get it to go above like 1066 for some reason. I have tried increasing voltages and so forth and can't find the sweet spot. Anyone else have 4 sticks working in one of Gigabytes p35 want to share their settings.

    Thanks
    -Mallow

But when i put second couple of douse ram they just work on 800mH on timing 5-5-5-15 2t. i try basic things like chance voltage but mothing seems work? any advise?
