Well thanks for the news 2000army as I had no idea (and it seems that MP has no idea either)! What about the UT LT X38-T3R, is that still supposed to be released?

Why? The only difference is cooling and the colors of the slots.

I wouldn't bet on it. You'd be surprised at the to-date sales of performance DDR3 boards. For now the smart thing is hold off and put DDR3 with the X48.

They must have just updated the page because earlier when I posted the linky it was still showing an ETA of Dec 20th. I wonder if they would have done anything if you didn't ask them about it?

there is no point to the UT, all it has is the different color and a heatpipe (heatpipe is worse than individual IMO). Electrically, the UT is identical to the LT

I assumed there must be a tangible difference given the $50 difference in price! Then again I guess it doesn't matter since it won't be sold, lol!

I'm testing Gigabyte X38-DQ6 as well.. number one issue on X38-DQ6 is the memory dividers not all work... so once i get around to taking all DFI LT X38 mem dividers for a test drive, we shall see

my setup is ready to be booted, water cooling is blead and all I need to do is reconnect power so I can start benching it!

ideally I'm going to try for 500 x 8 on this q6600 so we'll see how this DFI can really do things. Prelim results should be up by 7ish EST, depends on how long it takes me to set up windows x64 and all.

if worse comes to worse i'll just have to do 4gz at 9 multi
