It turns out it just needed to be tightened further. Here's a pic from last night before I started leak testing.
Damn - there's not much room between that Corsair ram cooler and the graphics card. Did you put anything between them to prevent shorting?
I'm going to have the same problem unless I use the lower slot - still trying to decide
