    My CPU needs 1.52Vcore set in BIOS to be stable @ 3.6 (450x8) - Actual 1.47 Load

    Does this seem high vcore set?

    I can do 3.55 @ 1.47 in BIOS and 1.42 Actual load
    try setting multi back to 9 and use 400 fsb...you might be able to lower your vcore.

    humm highest multi for E6750 is x8 and all the E**50 series

    that's why they cheaper

    e6700=x10 max - 10666fsb B2
    E6750=x8 max - 1333fsb G0

    both 2.66 GHz stock and E6700 is like $40 more I think

    but with a P35 I can do high fsb no problem

    I can do 500x8=4 GHz

    ------

    but yeah why I need so high vcore? I see people say they get 3.5 @ stock volts - I need 1.42 (load) for 3.5

    stock is 1.35 (VID) and less after load

    what do you mean by "stable"?..if you are talking about Prime 95 then you are probably real close to the correct vcore.

    Orthos well yeah same thing.

    Hmmm i thought E6750 hit around 3.5 stock vcore (1.35)

    so it needs an extra 1.1V for 3.6? Mines does 3.5 1.42 so I need an extra .5v for 100 more MHz?

    any memory oc'ing tips?

    I have 2x1Gb PC2-6400 it does 4-4-4-12 450 MHz 2.1V but wont do 5-5-5-15 510 MHz 2.2V..........weird especially for D9GMH........?

    each piece of hardware acts differently.

    you have DDR-800 memory...asking it to do DDR-1020 is a bit hard on it....DDR-900 is probably at or near the upper limit....try increasing MCH and ICHIO to max for a short time to see if that has any impact.

    wow I love you

    i put ICHIO to 1.6 and can now do 600 mhz 5-5-5 2.2v and 3.6 with 1.42 vcore 10 minutes orthos so far better than faiil in 10 seconds

    Stuttering Sound?

    Has anyone had stuttering sound problems so far using the onboard HD Audio setup? I've got the latest XP driver from Realtek's site. Using an Esata drive as well.

    usually any type of stuttering is caused by a resource conflict...try disabling devices/hardware in system properties to see if you can find the piece of hardware causing the problem.

    Sometimes my temps stick. I have seen my temps stick at 32C before. When I reboot, it seems to unstick it. It happened once or twice.

    USE CORETEMP 0.95.4...just don't have Uguru up on the desktop...the 2 conflict with each other...probably due both using the same resources to measure vcore and FSB.

    Thank you Ace. I will try it tonight after work. Thanks again for all your help!!! I just wanted to remind you that this thread was the reason why I purchased my mobo... VERY VERY VERY happy... I was already a huge Abit fan with my OLD Socket A Abit Mobo NF7-S rev.2. Could you believe I am coming from a athlon 2500+ CPU to a Q6600
    Just wish my fan control worked. But to be honest I don't think I would change the RPMs that much even if it worked.

    it is recommended for the board...what ever cpu abit's says they support on the IP35 Pro, it will work....there is never a bios released that is only specific for a certain cpu...all bios releases are improvements or tweaks.

    I'm wondering if anyone has been able to use S3 standby in Windows XP (or Vista) correctly. I realize most who use this board probably haven't even tried, but when I wake from standby I have the problem with my sound not working and it says "a jack has been unplugged". In general other things seem unstable and I have to reboot. I'm still using the 14 BIOS.

    Just FYI, I'm running a G0 Q6600 at 3.4 GHz with a x9 multiplier and standard CAS5 G.Skill 2x1GB DDR2-800 running at about 900MHz. The only voltage change I needed to do was to up VCORE to 1.2925V and set the RAM to 2V (it's rated at 1.8-2.0V so not an OC), so I'm really happy. I also have a Scythe Ninja RevB that keeps temps very reasonable.
