Ive got my pair of T800UX2GC4 few days ago, didnt expect much, as everyone kept telling the old story about the newer revisions.......but mine are running at
500Mhz 4,4,3,8 @ 2,25V (2,2 in bios), didnt memtest them yet, cause I dont think that the latest ver. of Memtest86+ supports P35 chipset yet, Tell me if Im wrong.....but I did run orthos Blend test (CPU and memory stress test) for few hours with no errors....

Strange bios on this GA P35-DS3, as always with gigabyte, strange options, no CR 1T or 2T, theres something like "option 1" and "option 2" ddr dll overclock?!?!?, im even running them at option1, and getting better latencies and bandwidth, according to new everest........must test with memtest, and see.....so far, so good

Putting together a new rig for a friend. He doesn't have a lot of money to spend to i'm trying to get best price/performance on every piece of hardware. Recent customer reviews say they are still good clockers. I found them on ewiz for 59 bucks. Anyone got a set of these recently and how are they doing?

Nice!!! That's very promising. Although it appears you have some older sticks. It's my understanding that the newer ones don't do so well. Anybody get these recently and what are your results?

I have 2 of these sets, got them a few days ago

one set does 4-4-3-8 1000Mhz @ 2,2v, haven't tested stability other than Spi 1m, but it looks promising for now. I have gotten this set up to 1300Mhz 5-5-5-15 @ 2,4v but not it was only desktop stable, crashed as soon i started SuperPI... I am almost certain this set has D9GMH, i will know for sure when i strap my thermalright HR-07s on these, but thos coolers are still some days away..

The other set doesn't look as promising, and i suspect this set has promos or any other kind of crappy ICs But i still has to test this set properly, it might just be the fact that this was the first set i tested, and i hadn't done any memory overclocking before i got these sets in...

Does anybody know if it is possible to id the kind of ICs these sticks use without prying of the heatsink?

I've got one 2gb kit at home now with D9GKX & have another set on order. Unable to test just yet as my PC is still half finished.

ouch!! I hope they aren't Promos. They are delivered today so i'll let you guys know how they do. If they do well then Ewiz has a sweet deal on em. 60 bucks for a 2x1gb kit.

OK. Got em installed in my machine for testing before i put em in my buddy's rig. Unfortunately my board will not allow 4,4,3,8 so i had to run em 4,4,3,9. No problems @ 800mhz. Cranked it up to 1000mhz and loosened timings to 5,5,5,15 with 2.2v. No problems there either. So far this RAM is looking like a steal for 60 bucks. Gonna see how tight i can run @ 1000mhz next. More results to come.

    No dice on 4-4-3-9 @ 1000mhz.

Bottom line: These modules will do 5-5-5-15 @ 1000mhz for 60 bucks @ ewiz.com. Not bad..... not bad at all. (Week 32/ Year 07)

    T800ux2gc4

    Hi!

    I have 2 KIT of these T800UX2GC4 (2*1GB), so its 4GB memory running @ 1000MHz in CL4-4-4-8-4-35 with only 2.25V

Now what I'd like to know, is what is the correct SUBTIMINGS for these KITs!
At this moment, its running 10-10-10-12 (tRRD, Write to Read Delay, Read to Precharge, Write to Precharge Delay)

Does anyone know what timings is for the best?

For example, my prevous A-DATA (d9gmh) kit could do 2-9-4-11...(this is the 4 last subtimings of course)

    So?

    Hi again!

Tough I wrote an e-mail to Super Talent support a few days ago, they haven't responded yet, so I tried a few thing on my own, based on my previous overclocking experiencies

So right now, I am running this 4GBs RAM at 1000MHz with 2.25V.
    Latencies:

    4-4-4-6-5-35-5-9-7-12

    Just getting better and better!

I'm having some trouble getting my sticks to work @ 4/4/3/8

The whole pc runs at stock speeds. The sticks run by default at 400MHz 2:3 5/5/5/15.
I changed the following in bios:
    Advanced-JumperFree Configuration
    AI Tuning: manual
    CPU Frequency: 266
    DRAM Frequency: 800
    PCI Express Fre. : 100
    PCI CLock..: 33.33
    Spread Spectrum: Disabled
    and then
    Memory Voltage: 2.25
    Memory Remap: Disabled
    Configure by SPD: disabled
    timings:4/4/3/8/6/42/10/10/10/10
    Static Read Control=disabled
which got me the wanted timings but it gave me a lot of BSODs while playing PES2008.

As suggested by a fellow forumer and after running memtest for about an hour with no errors, I thought the problem was with the fsb ratio. He suggested I oveclocked the cpu to run @8x400 so I could get the 1:1 ratio.

I tryed the following settings but the pc did not even post :
    Advanced-JumperFree Configuration-AI Tuning σε manual
    CPU Frequency 400
    DRAM Frequency 800
    PCI Express Frequency 101
    PCI Clock Synchr. Mode 33.33
    Spread Spectrum dis.
    Memory Voltage 2.05
    CPU Vcore Voltage 1.325
    FSB Termination Voltage 1.3
    NB Vcore 1.45
SB Vcore - Just one up, after auto
ICH Chipset -Just one up, after auto

    Advanced-CPU Configuration
    Cpu ratio setting: 08.0
    C1E Support: Disable
    Max CPUID Value Limit: disable
Vanderpool: enabled (and cannot be changed)
    CPU TM function: enabled
    Execute Disable Bit: enabled
    .

As I am a first time overclocker, any advice on the subject would be appreciated. :/

At least the proper settings for the sticks to work @400MHz 2:3 4/4/3/8 with the cpu at default speed.

    Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, I have 2x1GB Supertalent T800UX2GC5 with silver HSes. Week 21, Year 2007. I have them on Asus P5B vanilla.

Very bad sticks, won't go 4-4-4-8 at all, despite 2.4V and low frequency of 667MHz.
Max stable clock is 850MHz with 1.8V and default timings, increasing of voltage doesn't bring anything at all. At 900MHz it won't even boot.

I have E2160 CPU, so luckily I don't need high freq chips, but I hoped for 800MHz and 4-4-4-8 with ~2V.

After what I have experienced on these sticks they tend to dislike high frequency, but they are amazing on approx. 1000Mhz and low timings.

I run mine on these settings 24/7 (2,2v): These sticks are week 23-07

Its nice, but as I know, there is a rule, some kind, point is, they say tRAS should be no lower than CL+tRCD at least!

So tRAS in ur case as well should be 8, minimum! Otherwise it can cause faulty memory access, and stuff, its just not worth it.
