    My Sub shipped out today.

My Video card is waiting for me

Top Bid (Local) on my SM 120 is $200. The speakers I want to build cost twice as much!

For that we should thank BOTH (AMD and Intel) companies!

I think audio addiction is worse than OCing. So much to learn and its very rewarding to hear improvements in sound quality on stuff you fix / build through DIY.

Got a pair of hand-me-down Infinity Monitor Juniors that havnt been used in 30 years! The surrounds are all rotted away, so i'll be replacing them & the dustcaps with a kit from Partsexpress. I should probably recap the crossover, but I havn't ordered the parts required yet. Still need to get a meter that measures capacitance, and even better ESR....but that will probably cost a pretty penny.

And ... I also have to clean-up my 3870 voltmod by making it tidyer, replace my Ceramique with Coolaboratory Liquid Pro, tweak Airflow on the Accelero S1, then start retesting 24/7 speeds again. Hopefully 1GHz 24/7 (not just benching) artifact free should be attainable with the better TIM / lower temps

I havn't even begun to restore the HK730 Twin I just got, or get around to recapping my current PM655. So much to do, not enough time!!!!!

Absolutely I remember building my first pair of Speakers in the Local Boys-club (before it was the Girls and Boys Club). The RCA Woofer and Horn were from a discarded Stereo Console that had a broken Turn Table and blown out Amp. Got two 2-Cross-overs from Radio Shack. WOW! That was about 38 years ago I can still remember the sense of accomplishment like it was yesterday, been hooked since. The person I sold them too when I joined the Army about 8 years later had them another 15 until they were lost in a Fire.

Then many years later I do my first Surround and Dust Cap replacement I've saved myself a lot of money My SM-120's cost me $68, some old school BOSE 301 (Wooden) cost me $20 Spks + $6 surrounds. Classic Optimus Mach-1's for the $38 or the cost of the Grill cloth, surrounds and glue. Folks were throwing the speaker a way.

OK, enough of that. It is worse than Computers.
