probably due to their improved communication and assistance from Intel folkswell X38 came out reasonably quickly so maybe DFI is able to work quicker

Ahhh, but that's the rub ... to get it out of the warehouse in CA, it can only go FED-EX or UPS ... for the above mentioned $60 ... The fine folks at MoBoPro will have it shipped to GA and then forward it on via the trusty ole United States Postal Service. Which is why I am hoping to see it before the big New Year's Eve party here in exciting downtown Tok, Alaska!

I talked to motherboardpro people yesterday and today and both times they stated the boards were being shipped directly from CA to the end customer, so what lazy said was spot on true.

someone please recommend me memory for this board? i want 4gb / dual channel and plan to hit 3.6Ghz++ on Ultra 120 extreme.

i dont see gskill in 2x2048 config, at least not at that speed (also not at the gskill page)....everytime i do a search for 8500+ and 2x2GB it comes up with

They do 1066 easily. This was at 1.958 volts.
i woulda bought some but i got 8 gigs of d9s
need backups mine dont seem to last more than 2 months lol
once i get this board i hope they last a bit longerbut who cares as long as i dont go over volt specs
