Is the vcore still 1.25v? , and also is it air? and how many Multipliers can you use on your ES ?(Max is?)

Well I guess in terms of Phenom you could consider this quite the accomplishment. Like having a Special Olympics athlete compete in the regular Olympics and winning gold.
    3Ghz at air that is.

Hehe, mr Banned Mofo, i am sure your screens are FAKEs! Because on todays mobos with very bad BIOSes it is not possible to OC 9500 with lower multi to 3GHz! I can Photoshop any clocks ... but will be FAKE, like your results ... till best BIOSes on mobos ...

Its 1.25VID but actual Vcore is around 1.4V (using the Vcore OFFSET from BIOS). It can do over 3GHz, I havent tested how much though. Just running some stuff at 3GHz first. I think 3DMark06 and CineBench10 (and 9.5) under Vista x64 are next =)

on the GBT board the BIOS allows up to x25 - AOD Slider goes up to x47

All air and in a closed case:

This PI score is actually really really good compared to x2's. 3,51Ghz does in other thread here 24s
Also thrilled to see you comparing 3dmark points to Yorkfield, Which one is better vista x64 or xp 32bit??
ps. 3,3Ghz x2 does pi 1m in 25s So we have phenom 3Ghz running like 3,3Ghz x2 now. That's cool, not like conroe but cool though. And this is pi

just because one (or two?) other users have got high OC on these processor too, what would, let's say, "indicate that at least at this time" he was not lying.

    Well?

Let's face it. Phenom is not as good as what people hoped it to be. Perhaps, it will become better.
Wait, let me rephrase. It will get better as it seems current B2 Phenom are handicapped due to a bug in L3. Still, I don't think it can get much better but get a little better.

Well, I think AMD has lost this round as well. Is it because of that darn Hector?
    Does anyone know ?
Or ... is it just that AMD has awaken the sleeping lion ?

What I don't understand, is why in EVERY Phenom Thread, the intel boys have to come into the thread and start telling folks to buy intel.

The thread topic was Phenom to 3 GHZ, I don't see the thread title say : "Should I buy a Phenom or a Q6600 or whatever".
intel isn't even part of the thread!!

EVERY thread has this UNWANTED garbage in it, every one.

We get your points, we like blowing $ on crappy hardware, we don't like intel..

Whatever it is, please stop trying to SAVE us from ourselves, and let us discuss the platform we are interested in.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

Sorry for the OT, it's getting sickening.

Well, the same trend happened when AMD had the lead, so you can't blame them for being what they are.
    It is human nature.

I NEVER went into the intel forum to bash the intel products, and I've been here for quite awhile now, always with an AMD product.

Anyways, I really said what I wanted to say, and the thread is already straying, I don't want to continue harping about it.

I have to agree with muzz and its human nature for some. As far as the AMD people taunting the Intel people when AMD was ahead, its probably the same people. They just switched sides.

Just because you didn't, it didn't mean others did not, either.
Unfortunately, there are a lot more than just one person on this forum.

Would be nice to keep this thread clean. On the other had, I was looking at the eggs reviews of the 9500 and its like a war zone with all of the fanboys from each side. It's calm here compared.

Have to admit I was tempted on the 9600, but I'll wait for the BE and a better varity of mb.
