I'm on 0903 now, I'll give it a few days Folding time, see how it works and then give a judgement on it, probably Sunday evening...ish!
It doesn't like the OC Profiles from other bios, even 0901, if you try to use it, it saves to CMOS, reboots and loads all AUTO everything... :P Set it all again manually and now it works!
I'll post my profile later if you guys like? I can post the actual CMOS profile?
I didn't have this issue loading OC defaults from profile. I had done so comming from 0902 though, so maybe that's the cut-off point.

I think 0902 is the cut of point.
Well I'm going back to 0901 because 0903 just lost me a moderate overclock, let alone a high one... WHAT THEARE ASUS PLAYING AT RIGHT NOW?!!!?
This the last Asus board for me. I've never experienced such bad bios' on such good boards as with my Striker Extreme and this Maximus Formula...
I'm going to stick with Abit or DFI from now on, at least they get things right more often than Asus and their backwards bios'!!!!
Yeah, if there was extra money in my pocket I'd consider picking up a DFI X38 just to see how it compares.

I've noticed strange problem with this mobo - when I touch voltage regulation for CPU, when I set another value than AUTO my machine doesn't even boot :/ . It happens even when I leave all other values on def. settings :/ I've tried bios from 0402 to 0902.
Has anyone noticed this problem?? May it be bios issue or mobo failuire?
From bios 0602 I haven't noticed vDropVoltage Calibration is working

Well so far so good for me on 0903. I have a managed to push my system past the point where it fails in 0902, without touching any voltage except adding a .025v to the vcore and gaining 10mhz, OCCT testing going good so far.
I will push it a little further and see results. Might also do a little fsb test.
no 0903 replaced them

it's been working since 0505. Where have you been?
edit: speedstep is now in the bios it wasn't in 0901 or 0505. 0901 & 0505 only had C1e 0903 has both. I'm running occt on my 0901 3.6Ghz oc settings.

If I can't get 3.2 GHZ Stable I'm returning it and getting a DFI P35 UT Board. Hopefully I could keep this bad boy !!
Welp I'm in process of re-assembling my system w/ the Maxmius Formula instead of the P5k delxue but the back plate for my aerocool dominator is stuck to the old board so I'm going to have to replace it w/ something different, I can pickup a Thermaltake V1 or a Tuniq Tower for around 55-60 right now @ microcenter, any idea which would be a better choice? or should I just bite the bullet and order a TR Ultra 120ex + Sflex 1600rpm fan for around 80 shipped and wait?

I'm loving this board compared to the P5K Premium. I'm on 0901 and this thing is stable with my Q6600 G0 @ 3420MHz on air. The only thing holding me from pushing further is the ambient temperatures here in Adelaide at the moment.

I think all you people RMAing your boards for one reason or another is the reason we have the latest BIOS limiting everyone elses potential. I was happy with 0901 and was stable at 3.97Ghz. This F*cker wont even post now. I'm sticking with older BIOS...

I just got off the phone from Asus.
I was calling in regards to the problem I had a few days ago with bios 902.
I asked the tech guy what was the deal with removing bios 902?
He flat out denide the removal of the bios, I then mentioned 701 and 901.
His response was vague, so me being an a$$hole and my love for a good fight, I asked for a supervisor.
I then repeated everyhitng to him, and them mentioned I had to goto online forums for help and I found it pathetic that they could not help me, that there course of action was to blame my ram and RMA the board.
So they are offering me the Maximus Extreme if I send the SE back.
