Are there any internal RAM performance settings that we can never change? There must be something.

Thanks for the info, interesting. I won't be booting the C2D for a while after tomorrow so if you want me to test anything on the Abit, let me know quick You guys will have to continue the testing without me now.

I've been using the Abit for a day. Max stable FSB all stock volts: http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/1...400idleve3.png

1.350V BIOS is 1.312V Windows 1.288V load.

DS4 is a very good board, I'd recommend it I'm sure it can get plus 550FSB, NB runs so cool at max volts it's unbelievable. Beware if you have an ATi GPU though, overclocking can only be done once you uninstall the GPU. My Sapphire GPU is locked too, non-ocable.

Good news is that I was on phone with 'ol uncle earlier and he let me keep all the stuff... including the AMD stuff... free Even better news is I'm going to sell them=> probably keep X4 build and the DS4 till a new Intel chip.

Bad news is I could've got 4x Powercolor 3870 800/2240 today to play with if I had a PSU. This ones the only one I have here till I sell it, it doesn't even have enough connectors for this C2D build and it's 330W. Rails are low (hi-pots) although rock solid but that's Seasonic for ya. I'm kinda dissapointed.
