    George, as i know, retail behave the same... so with classic BIOSs it would be 6x only... I'll test it next week, currently i got only ES` versions.

    But no board mods are needed to get it > x6

    It's not determined yet, if it would be possible to change multiplier for unlocked CPUs such as Extreme versions, right now i could not change it up neither down (9x for QX9650, or 8.5x for Q9550 - in this case, i.e. to 8x) (only 6x due to EIST/C1 do work... but who cares)
