Cryo-teks a professional that was proper. So are myteks, again a professional. Not against Luke-XE, but the pressures and such, as well as the temps at load, dont reflect autocascades like we see done by these professionals, not the physical being, but the reflected load and pressures.

extremeoverclocking has drewmeister if that counts for something, that guy...is insane...the temps he gets on even ss are insane, let alone autocascades

Yes but as far as we've seen theres a few people waiting almost as much time as people are waiting for units from Reggie. They ask for refund, and he gives them the runaround for months. Its very plausible those results are not real or the load is not.
He also doesnt make autocascades or cascades.

Damn NOL..... when you call someone out, you really call them out. Wasn't but a few months ago you were asking him for advice, now you are ragging on him bad. I don't know anything about Drewmeister, but unless you have some pretty solid evidence that those accusations are true, it's not to cool to be posting stuff like that.

Just my opinion, I'm not saying it's true or not, I've heard his name mentioned, but thats all I know about him. Have you posted this info on Extreme Overclocking so he at least has a chance to respond?

    no i don't think nol hasn't posted a thread.
    Drew doesn't build auto-c's btw
Drewmeister builds great stuff. hes a fantastic guy and me and him have been talking daily for the past couple weeks. Im about to get a big purchase from him. He is one of the main people who helped launch NOL into phase, or so i have heard. Drew has been having troubles with the 1hp units. he is trying desperatly to get them working. Please stop talking trash behind his back on forums that he has no way to respond to. I read what you said over at overclock.net and also you were posting trash about jinu there...

Watch this thread get closed now. Nol im not trying to start a fight or put you down or anything. Drews a good guy and im only saying this because you have said the same thign here and several other forums...

Nah I'm just sick of so many people giving the run around. And the one comment I made in the thread about Jinu, which I regret, was during a time when no one had heard a thing from him, and many people were standing with money gone wondering what had happened. At that time I had lost some respect, but by coming back and explaining what happened, I more then see Jinu as having regained that. However the run around is never acceptable, it just isn't.
Also, Drew posts great results, and I do respect him for pioneering great stuff, again, the runaround pisses me off.

true, i was not here before jin's life temporarily went down the toilet. So i did not know him... But i see that drew is working very hard to get units done. if he ever disappears the first thing i will do is apologize to you

I think you should start a thread at eofc IMO...

I really don't want to get involved so leave me out of it. I don't want to really personally start attacking people as I have responsibility as moderator here. It won't be pleasant once I start spilling beans... so let's leave it at this.

I reported my post hopefuly a mod sees the flag, I really dont mean to call Drew out, he has helped me, but the run around is really annoying me lately.
I'm avoiding the LukeXE threads and the Chilly1 threads and all that jazz as its "not my issue" and so I wont bring up a Drew issue. Ive told those involved tho to post up a thread instead of continueing to wait.

This might also get put back behind a large three stager.

Picking up some parts for this project already. The 7/8hp matsua rotary is heading into my 3 stager project so I need to select a new compressor. I'm considering something 220vac and larger. However getting other things right now, large filter drier, hot gas bypass and solenoids, accumulator for expansion tanks, Ive got more then enough condensers tho

You should get one of those massive industrial compressors

    we'll start a -300c club

-300C is impossible :P -273.14999999999999 etc ºC is the lowest theoretical achievable temperature. Still, go for that number NoL

If you adjust the sub-space quantum flux, and reverse the polarity (this always works on Star Trek), you just might create a new dimensional reality where -300C is possible. Anybody got an idea of how to do this?

Easy Michael just install a flux capacitor after the first discontinuoum loop and before the improbability drive

So I guess in other words it'll be some time before this is possible.

    On a more serious note...
Nol After you get the new compressor, how long before you start your build? Anything besides refrigerants, time, and keeping the misses happy (I know this one well), still holding up the process?

Uhmm your conversion calculator somehow quantumly messes up and translates -50c into -50k? :P Keep in mind that in quantum physics, physical behavior we see is actually how we perceive it... (starting to sounds like Zen).... :p

    What else would there be?
The misses is happy I think, so on to getting refrigerant... My only source it would seem for ethane would be Matheson trigas, a decent supplier, but an ass when it comes to billing. Everything you ever order gets a $10 hazmat fee tacked on, even if its a fitting... And not just order, your rental charge, normally like $16 a month, gets a $10 hazmat fee on it too! My ethylene is from them and then they also told me $45 to ship via Fedex/UPS, then charged me $145 for freight. R23 would be from Electronic flourocarbons or Refron. Refron wants a 10lb minimum I know, they charged me an insane amount for the 1lb of r14 I do have plus the $200 cylinder charge that I hope to get back. Tempting on both ways, would be cheaper I think in short run to get ethane, though that cylinder rental fees a pain in my keister. I'll have to access if I can get my rental invoices combined.

Oh so tempting. Hmmm shoulda grabbed that 2hp matsush17a when it was up on ebay for $100 shipped, now I could get a 11500 btu matua for $150 + shipping, or a larger 220vac 18000btu for same price...

Its really a money thing. I've got a monster of a lineset I could put on my 3stager or this, so now its a debate of do this, or do a monster 3 stager....

Ok you got me on that one I guess I'll stick to designing autocascades
