Okay guys,

With the 1.377v bios, I was able to achieve 855core, 1301mem. Temps at load don't go past 58C, Fan fixed at 68% at all times.

I'm going to take off those thermal pads and apply some real AS5 to the core now. I just know the temps are gonna drop drastically after doing so.

After that, i'm going to aim for more core, maybe more mem.

UPDATE:

okay I pasted the PCB and the RAM BUT there was a gap between the ram and the copper heatsinks! so that was for nothing...what a waste of AS5. I put the "bubble gum" thermal pads back on...repasted core with AS5, now my idle temp is 31C where as before, it was 36-37C.

I am going to attempt the 1.5v Bios, and aim for higher core!

I forgot to mention one thing, and it's huge!

While I took off the ram heatsink, i marked down the ram's model#.

For the Sapphire HD 3870 512mb the model is:

Samsung
K4U52324QE-BC08

Now we can find out what frequency they are actually rated for! w00p!

Okay I just flashed to the 1.5v bios. Idle temps with 70% fan is 35C with AS5 Pasted might i remind you.
