I REALLY wish those guys would give us freaks a warning before they update CPUZ. Or allow older versions to be uploaded at least a couple of days after the update.

Here is the result:

new WR Opteron 170: 3663.24 Mhz @ 1.776 v

The heat spreader was away from that cpu so I had to take another one above it because of the cold bug.

The validation was made with +23c....have to boot with 10x300 then push with Prime95 to get temps around +40c and then I could clock the MHz higher during fallen temps.

Cold Bug sounds like this:
245 mHz @ -30c
267 mHz @ -22c
283 mHz @ -16c
305 mHz @ -5c
316 mHz @ 0c
342 mHz @ 8c
348 mHz @ 10c

I validated with CPU-Z 1.41 because I forgot to use CPU-Z 1.42....I had luck my validation was upload.

I tried this all on my SLI-D, next time I will use the Expert Venus.

@stunned_guy: that cb might explain my problems, the coldest core was always~below +5c. The warm one was @ 20 though :p (need to remove the IHS I guess, just to get even temps... then chilled water is next I guess dice on rad ) I'll see if I can break your record, but not sure when I'll go for it. I have so many otehr chips to test you know, and this one was a big PITA the last time

@gianni nice spi time almost 2 sec faster than my personal best But then I mostly go for cpuz WR's before I try to run my chips @ laod @ 1.85v+ Don't want to kill them...
