I suppose that's a decent reason.

I think the reason no one made a D5 'top' is because it already uses 1/2" barbs, whereas the DDC uses 3/8" and most users prefer 1/2" so buying a top is necessary.

That's just what I was thinking, but I was chicken to say so. It is very sexy. I've got 2 D5V's collecting dust that I'd find a place for if I could get some sweet parts for them.

I'm already using a D5 in a 3/8" loop.

3/8" tubing over 1/2" barbs FTW!
