Barbs on copper side = no spacer.
Barbs on delrin or acrylic side = use spacer. Spacer o-ring seals to block, barb 0-ring seals to spacer.
What you're doing is ensuring the barbs' threads don't protrude into the water chamber. So everything depends on what barbs are used and where.
Bloody amazing how fast Quoc can get stuff to us in Oz. Faster than many locals do.
Awesome
Waiting for pics!
BTW: I told ya! Those block are a bit of a pita to hook on a 8800GTX.

Pre-min fan result's
Fan's tested
Yate loon D12SM-12 33dba 70cfm
Scythe slip stream 33dba 88cfm
Scythe ultra kazes 32.91dba 87cfm
Xurillian fan 32dba 70cfm
D12SM: the quietest @ high, med and low out the 4 fan's tested pushes more than the Xurillian but less than the scythe's... surprised how quiet it was
Xurillian: Pushes the least air, @ all setting's has annoying rattling noise @ all setting's
Scythe slip stream: Pushes more air than the d12sm and xurillian @ all setting's Inaudible @ low very quiet @ med and noticeable but not to bad @ high
Scythe ultra kasez: Pushes equal or a tad more compared to slip stream inaudible @ low quiet @ med Pushed most air , loudest out all four fan's tested @ high.... by a fair bit slight whining noise and rattling noise (might be faulty fan will test another 1 to be sure)
Results after a very quick test... looks like a 3 horse race here d12sm,slip stream and scythe ultra kaze more to continue tomorrow![]()
You do know I was just messing with you...right?
I wish ground was that fast.I ordered last Thursday and won't get mine until this Thursday. If I order UPS ground from anyone else, I get it in 3 days. I'm not spending another ~$8-9 (I can't afford) to get my stuff 2 days faster. This is about the only area I see that Petra needs to improve upon.
Hmm, from these results, it looks like I stay with the SM's. I'll wait for full results before deciding for certain though.

You know its just a couple of drill holes and some filing to make your own single slot end plate.
I bought one in a pile of stuff but its very easy to make from a spare blanking plate.
25ft on tubing...
So what? I have 60ft of different Brand\sized Tubing for my XETM Project! ROFL![]()
But Hey, Small question m8, you actually used the kinda metal O-ring (Which include a black plastic O-ring) right? What is it used for? Protecting the Acrylic from cracking when mounting the barbs on the acrylic side of the block?
I didn't used them on my past loop. Did i do wrong?

Yes i did use it.... As jedda explained beforehand...

What you're doing is ensuring the barbs' threads don't protrude into the water chamber. So everything depends on what barbs are used and where.
I didn't know this would turn into who's the got the biggest/most tubing competition hahahaha![]()
