    with a stock vapochill @ -30°C ..280htt is no problem (i didn't test higher.)
    next i'll test dice

Yesterday my FX-53 and the 5 Opteron 150 arrived. The Opterons all have 0532 MPMW Stepping, same wafer-id only the batch is various.

The Opteron 150 wr is hard to bet ---> bruce and I will fight back
There is a reason I didn't buy those. 0532MPMW aren't THAT good. At least I think my 0534SPMW is a bit better.

But give them 2v and -50c and try to get the WR! I was SO close...

Hmm... my chip needs a little re-test I think

You have an Asus board so overclocking is a little bit strange for you because this boards dont like high htt that you will need.
Then you have to put the ram with an divider that it will not rocks 1:1 to the cpu.
Which cooling do you take ?
Can you tell us whats written on the cpu heat spreader ?

Either the cpu sucks or my motherboard (cfx3200-dr) does. 220fsb tops, volts dont matter..

220 ?? That cant be. I think its your RAM stopping your overclocking. Did you use a divider ?

    I have a 3500+ that stops @ 2350mhz stock voltage, and wont even boot @ 2200mhz with 1.55v

Horrible chips exist, believe me! But MOST LIKELY it's your ram that's limiting your OC.

    Ouch! Sorry about that.

I just won a KAB1E 0631APMW, hope it's better than those chips... I can't afford buying crap chips no more

Btw, are you REALLY going to stop OC'ing 939 chips? And you sent that chip insured, right? (tracking number)?

gianni dont have luck with the 0631 APMW....that is my luck
    Try to get other steppings.

Yesterday I tested my FX-53 the first time and I wonder about my good temps at the single stage: -38°c @ 1.456 v @ 130 nm....that is fantastic ---> validation stopped more than 3.3 ghz so I could beat some LN2 and cascade results

Hmm, which stepping is that FX53? Could be a nice one

Btw, did you have a 3700+ 0506GPMW in the past? It was listed in the link in your sig. Was that a CABHE, AABHE or what?
