we need the RAM across the board to be 400mhz 3-3-3
I say this is a victory for AMD with tighter RAM it should be right up there with eh new c2ds in performance/clock.

LOL. And with a brand spanking new BIOS and new stepping, we will see it outperform Penryn and match Nehalem.![]()

Seriously though, I do believe Phenom will get a sizeable boost jumping up to DDR2-1066, probably around 5% on average, perhaps 10% in apps heavy on bandwith.
Please why is it so hard to keep AMD vs Intel threads unbiased, let go of your feelings and try to look it from an objective way. If forums were more objective rather than subjective, there would be a lot less flamebaiting.
Objecticism (or how you call it in english) + logic are my best friends, but that's a whole different story.
Here's a hint: don't ask yourself what do you think about it, compare it to the other products instead and comment on basis on that.

Intel? Core i5-4670K @ 4.3 GHz | ASRock Extreme6 Z87 | G.Skill Sniper 2x8GB @ DDR4-1866 CL9 | Gigabyte GTX 970 OC Windforce 3x | Super Flower Titanium 1000W | ViewSonic VX2268wm 120Hz LCD | Phanteks PH-TC14PE | Logitech MX-518 | Win 7 x64 Professional | Samsung 850 EVO & 840 Pro SSDs
If all people would share opinions in an objective manner, the world would be a friendlier place
well atleast now there is a choice from amd. it may not be as quick as the high ends but it comes with a nice price for those who would rather have it. i hope this helps amd get back some of the mainstream market.
plus this will help me beat my cousins computer which is all i want te he he![]()

cpu- Intel I7 3930K
Asus P9x79 Deluxe
2x HD7970
32gb ddr3-1600
corsair ax1200
Corsair 800D
Corsair H100 lapped
2x 128gb M4 raid 0
It's overclock up to 3 GHz
And B2 core is around since some time:

http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets...oc.aspx?i=3092But why stop at BA or B1. The 2.5 GHz samples featured on AnandTech's second article are of the newest roadmapped spin; revision B2. When Shimpi made the inference that the 2.5 GHz Opterons would be the closest thing to Phenom, he was hardly exaggerating. AMD's current roadmaps peg the the B2 stepping launch for Opteron and Phenom as mid-Q4 2007.

It's that test i'm talking about. Here the NB Speed is at 1800 GHz. Was this just an CPUz issue? Then why does the latest Cinebench10 results still show 1600 GHz NB speed.
Also he talkes about using GP9600 instead of GP9000 (used for the 2.0 GHz ES in previous tests), so i thought maybe they have non ES also.
Yeah, but i read a news a week or so ago that B2 will be used for >=2.4GHz.
Unfortunately I do not find that news.![]()
